Ms Han Wei completed her tertiary education at Harbin Technological Institute in the Heilongjiang Province of the People’s Republic of China. She completed her legal education Beijing College of Politics and Law and was admitted to the bar in China in 1994. To supplement her knowledge in the law, she undertook and completed the Masters in Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore.

Previously a Chinese national, Ms Han is now a Singapore citizen. She had practised as a lawyer in China for 10 years before coming to Singapore to continue her career. In total, she has close to 20 years' experience in the legal industry.

At the firm, Ms Han assists Mr K K Yap on international law matters, with a focus on China law. Her responsibilities include legal matters pertaining to international investments, initial public offerings, trademarks and patents, China property matters, arbitration, litigation and Singapore permanent residence applications.

Prior to joining LAWHUB LLC (formerly known as K K Yap & Partners), Ms Han was with the German offshore law firm, Haarmann Hemmelrath and Singapore’s Drew & Napier LLC. Since coming to Singapore, she has been actively contributing her expertise on China law to the business community through her articles and seminars. She has been a speaker the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry events. One of her works, "Investment in China - You Should Know the Local Law" was published in Singapore’s main Chinese-language newspaper, Lianhe Zaobao.
