Ms Winnie Tan graduated from the Singapore National University of Singapore in 1993 and was in private practice for about 4 years handling probate, divorce and general litigation matters. In 1998, Ms. Tan joined the Housing and Development Board’s Conveyancing Department and gained invaluable experience in handing a wide variety of conveyancing cases involving HDB residential flats. Prior to leaving the HDB, Ms Tan drafted and developed the standard form of the HDB Option to Purchase for resale residential HDB flats which has been implemented for public use since 15 April 2003.

Ms Tan returned to private practice when she joined the firm in July 2003 and since then, she has been handling a diversified range of real estate transactions including industrial and commercial properties, HDB and private residential properties.

Since joining the firm, Ms. Tan has also acted for the Vendors of several developments in collective sales. She has personally drafted, advised on and negotiated the terms and conditions of the collective sale (between the owners themselves and also with the successful Purchaser) for several developments including Edenvale, Fortuna Court, Haig Gardens, Tai Gin Apartments, Nos 433 to 471B River Valley Road, Mount Emily Tower, Regent Court and Laurel Park. Ms. Tan has also appeared at the Strata Titles Boards on several occasions representing the Vendors in their applications to the Strata Titles Boards for the Order for Collective Sale. She advises the Vendors on all aspects of the STB’s procedures and ensures their compliance with the legal formalities.
